Welcome to the world of Psychiatry! I received my education from the University of Cincinnati where I obtained my MSN. I was lucky to begin my career with a fellowship that allowed me to transition into my role slower and with tremendous support. Not everyone has the opportunity to do this, which is why I’m proud to have created a course that I wished existed when I became a novice Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Begining your new role will be challenging and very fast paced. You can expect to receive a short training until you are expected to be on your own. Your schooling provided you with the general knowledge to become a provider and how to pass your boards and with this course, we will help you transition into your role much smoother. We will help you function independently much quicker and will help boost your confidence as a new provider. Join us to help you survive your first year as a Psychiatric Nurse practitioner!
